There was much more to unpack here in this post, but I kept it concise for clarity and focus. I believe that a small dose at a time is often easier to absorb, process, and apply without feeling overwhelmed. Personally, I’m someone who shuts down when faced with too much at once, whether it’s walking into a big-box store, standing in a crowded grocery aisle of options, or even when a large plate of food is placed in front of me. I believe growth is similar in this regard.
So, consider this a meaningful addition to a topic I'm deeply passionate about—hopefully, you are too. Because if we can improve just this one area —how we understand and respond to our emotions, it could mean less internal stress and more kindness toward one another. And honestly, isn’t that what we need more of in today’s world?
We’re living in the information age, but emotional maturity hasn’t caught up. And if there’s truth in the saying, “When you know better, you do better,” then this is how we begin.
